Venice-Rialto Bridge at the Grand Canal. A trip to Venice, Italy almost always warrants a cruise around the canals in a Gondola. However, we did not do this and apparently other tourist followed suit. It is a little on the expensive side and we are not the ones to get caught up in the tourist traps. We chose to ride the water taxis which takes you to all the sites plus for a little extra to different islands. We went to Burano and Murano two very interesting excursions from Venice. I added some textures and overlays to the print to give it less of a photo look.
Venice is actually made up of 118 small islands which are connected by canals and bridges. , , , , , , , , , , ,

-Crossing the . The Longfellow Bridge pictured here, is a steel rib arch bridge which spans the Charles River, connecting 's Beacon Hill area with the Kendall Square area of , Massachusetts. The bridge, known to locals as the "salt and pepper bridge" supports travel by car, train, bike and pedestrians.⁠

Cape May-The Ugly Mug. One of the iconic bar and restaurants you will find when you visit , . Cape May is a city at the southern most part of the Cape May peninsula. The and the Atlantic Ocean meet at this point. Cape May was designated as a Historic District and a National Historic Landmark, in 1976. It is graced with Victorian Homes which have been turned into Bed and Breakfast Inns, restaurants, or private residences. Cape May is also know for its craft and cultural events such as the Cape May Jazz Festival and the Cape May Music festival. We visited Cape May many times throughout the years and I am happy to say it has not changed much over the years like the other Jersey shorepoints have changed. Our kids loved their visits to Cape May, especially when we went searching for "Cape May Diamonds" on Sunset Beach! They would spend hours looking through the stones on the beach searching for that perfect and large "diamond" which were actually pieces of clear quartz that washed down from the banks of the Delaware River, some 200 miles to the shore.
Good food, pristine beaches, shopping, so much to do. If you ever decide to visit Cape May NJ, be sure to bring you binoculars there are plenty of birds, whales, and dolphins to entertain you.

Branching Out. This cute little fellow was perched in a tree at in . We almost missed seeing him, he was blending in well with all the greenery around him. I removed the back ground from the print, focusing on the detail of this lovely creature.

During a visit with friends living in the , they took us to one of their favorite spots for dinner. We sat waterside at Cody's enjoying food, drink and our friends company. Landing has a nice boardwalk which you can stroll and work off your dinner. The scene is beautiful, especially is you happen to be there around sunset. Lake Sumter Landing offers a variety of entertainment, food and drink. A great place to visit!

A Week in the - ON THE ROCKS was taken on the beach outside our condo while visiting the Cayman Islands. This little guy along with his siblings were having a grand old time running back and forth across and through this wall made of coral. 7Mile Beach. , , , , , , , , ,
