Yesterday, I got to hangout with RJ and do his senior photos. We did some photos around RiNo Art District and then they took me to this awesome rooftop garage to do photos with RJ’s dad’s’63 Impala! I love getting to incorporate things outside of the norm!!

I always love photographing seniors in downtown Denver. There are so many great backdrops, and Larimer Square definitely didn’t disappoint!

This senior session was a little extra special! My niece Kara flew in from Montana to spend a few days with us and, of course, have me take her senior photos!

She had one location in mind from the start: Larimer Square in downtown Denver. And I think she made a pretty great choice!

Honestly, sunrise shoots are the way to go. We had all of Standley Lake to ourselves, there are no bugs or snakes out and we were done before it got hot out! Lavelle was so much fun to work with!!

One of the best parts about photographing someone for more than 15 years is that I don’t have to take myself too seriously.

I’ve known Leah since she was little, so getting the genuine laughs out of her is pretty easy at this point. We laughed a ton during this session, got some incredible photos, and just had fun with it. Exactly how a senior session should be!
