I am an avid outdoorsman and I love to be out in the wilderness. It is what calms my mind, relaxes my spirit and resets my soul. I write to share my journey, insight, tools, tricks, knowledge, cool locations, recommendations and personal stories. I am not currently certified by any organizations or affiliated with any either. I am an Army veteran, I was a medic (68W) attached to the infantry (1-27

INF, 25th ID). I am the guy who loves learning and testing survival skills/tools and travelling and seeing the beauty of nature. Combining my medical and mental knowledge from the military, with my skills learned outdoors since childhood with my Dad, has resulted in a healthy understanding of the natural world around me.
