Our weekend in pictures: 🌧🌦🌤🌞🐎📸
Despite a little rain, it was a gorgeous weekend in Kansas City for both Kansas City Dressage Society and Kansas Hunter Jumper Associations - KHJA! Erin knocked it out of the park at Longview taking all the pretty dressage pics, and I had great help at Bluebonnet Equestrian covering both rings and capturing all the fun! Thank you Annie, Laura, and Clarissa for stepping up to make sure everyone got gorgeous pictures for our first show in the new beautiful outdoor ring! And thank you Ashley New Legacy Farm for organizing a gorgeous, well-run show (as always) and Rachel Bluebonnet Equestrian for sharing your beautiful facility with us. We'll see you all at the next one at Longview in just a few weeks!

Day 1 of Kansas Hunter Jumper Associations - KHJA at Bluebonnet is in the books! We thrived in rain, sunshine, and absolutely everything in between for hunter day! Meanwhile, Erin held down the fort at Longview for KCDS Championships and I can't wait to dig into those photos next! While I work on those, hunters are loading from Bluebonnet. We'll see you back out there for jumpers tomorrow!

Baby Raegal might have had some strong bloopers, but he is also a stunning, powerful good boy with a dun stripe to boot! I can't wait to watch this one grow up!

Yes, I get hired to take pictures of horses for a living. Why do you ask?

😂Baby Raegal certainly had a good blooper reel!

Another sneak peak of a pretty dark pony, but this time at the beginning edge of Golden Hour ✨🖤
Bridget, you do so much for our local horse community and there's nobody else I would be so happy to see at the crack of dawn 🫶

Another black horse, this time with a more traditional black background fine art setup. Sweet Valencia 🖤

I was supposed to be showing my horse this weekend, but the universe had other plans. Almost as if it knew I needed desperately to catch up on emails and edits 🙃
First up, gorgeous Siobhan 🖤
Hang tight because the next few weeks are going to contain a whole lot of pretty ponies!

I am once again behind on sharing, which I suppose makes sense when I have such a fantastic team firing off shots like this left and right! Here's some highlights from the All Breed Showcase held at the brand new American Royal Association facility! We can't wait til building is complete, but it was such a joy to photograph the last show held at Hale Arena (the MoKan Border Bonanza full of all the gorgeous arabian horses little Haley could dream of) and the first at the new campus. Be sure to check out show proofs at the link below!

And that's a wrap! Team HLJ Images rocked the rings at both the St. Louis Charity Horse Show and the inaugural Youth and Open Breed show at the brand new facility at the American Royal ! Thank you KT, Teryn, Erin, Cammie, Taylor, David, and Molly for helping me make sure everyone got tons of beautiful photos to capture all the memories! The last of Sunday at the Charity is loading now and all photos are up for the Royal, putting our total at OVER 25,000 PHOTOS in 5 different arenas, plus video at the St Louis Charity captured by The Framed Equestrian | Traveling Photographer & Videographer! It has been an absolutely crazy week and so fulfilling seeing all the hard work going online so fast. I am so proud of my team and so grateful to be surrounded by so much talent. Be sure to check out all the big moments in this weekend's show galleries!
