Some love stories are written quickly, but Olivia and Logan’s story was written slowly, faithfully, and beautifully over time.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Ackridge celebrated their wedding day at the most quaint and memorable country home, nestled down a dirt road leading to Olivia’s grandparents’ home — Ricky and Kathy Wilkerson. The day could not have been more perfect. The grounds were beautifully decorated, the air was filled with joy, and every detail reflected the warmth and love that surrounded them.
If you know Olivia, then you know how deeply she loves her family. Having her wedding in the field where she grew up playing with siblings and cousins had always been a dream in her heart. And as much as I tried to convince her that everything was already perfectly set up at my venue, she never wavered. She knew exactly where she wanted to say “I do.” Looking back now, it could not have been more perfect. The place that held so many childhood memories became the very place where she began her forever with Logan.
They chose the wedding package called “It’s About Time,” and truly… it was time. After dating for 10 years and spending 2 of those years engaged, these two finally stood hand in hand and promised forever to one another. I had the privilege of taking three years of prom photos, their engagement photos, and now their wedding photos. Watching them grow to be who they are today is just awesome. I’m so proud of them.
Logan absolutely adores Olivia, and Olivia — or “Livi” as so many lovingly call her — simply cannot imagine life without Logan. During the past two years, Olivia worked alongside me, and in those moments we talked often about relationships, faith, commitment, and keeping God at the center of it all. So when Olivia messaged me to say they were finally ready to plan their wedding, my heart was overflowing with excitement. I knew a long time ago that she had already found the one her heart loved, and now they were both ready for the beautiful commitment of marriage.
Their ceremony was so pure, so sweet, and so perfectly them. While capturing their memories, I could not help but think of the scripture Romans 8:28 — “All things work together for the good to those who love the Lord.” That verse fits Olivia and Logan perfectly. Through every season, God has guided their relationship with steadfast love and faithfulness, and I truly believe He will continue to bless the life they build together.
Olivia and Logan, your love story is one filled with patience, faith, family, and unwavering devotion. It has been such a joy to witness your journey and capture these precious moments for you both.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ackridge. May your forever together be every bit as beautiful as the day it began.
