In honor of the upcoming National Park Week, here’s another shot of Double Arch in Arches National Park. Looking up at the sky through the arches gives you a glimpse of the clearest blue sky you’ll ever see – framed by a heart, no less.

Sometimes, some of the best views are hidden in plain sight - and luckily I didn’t have to stray from the path at all in Yellowstone’s Upper Geyser Basin to catch this one!

"After the Storm"

Just minutes in time for a post to hiking in Zion National Park. It was the morning after a storm system moved through the park that left it cool and dreary. Nice cool weather for hiking, but blue skies were far from sight with clouds dipping as low as the tops of the canyons. Nevertheless, it did provide a great backdrop for the colors of the canyon walls!

"Through the Clouds"

After a long day of hiking in Zion with dreary, overcast skies, the sun finally peaked out at the end of the day as we were heading back to the shuttles at the Temple of Sinawava. The late afternoon Sun cut through some gaps in the clouds and lit up the red rock and sandstone cliffs of the canyon wall for this gorgeous sight!

Spent the weekend up in Utah to meet up with an old friend who flew out from Florida and explored Zion National Park. This obviously isn't a photo from Zion... but I haven't had time to edit so here's a photo taken in Utah at the first Arch I hiked to!
