All the SoCal 100 owners know, replacing a windshield can feel like opening Pandora’s box. On these 25+ year LCs, your seals are either still holding up or you’re about to have a FAFO moment when that original glass comes out.
In my case, it was door #2, rust. I started noticing condensation inside after heavy rain, which was the tell.
That’s why finding someone who actually knows these trucks and how to properly deal with rust is everything. Luckily mine was just surface rust.
Huge thanks to for taking care of the Land Cruiser. New windshield is in, and he upgraded the top gasket to sit on the roofline instead of inside the channel like OEM. Should help preserve her for another 25+ years 😬🤞
