Taos Portrait Series

I have been holding onto this series for well over a year now. I stayed off the grid and traveled through the various deserts and cliffsides of New Mexico solo. I was the most inspired by Taos and it’s warm ethereal quietness.

This photo series was taken by me in the tipi I was camping in during my time in Taos. This tipi was isolated and on a vast plateau of the owner’s private property…despite its off-the-grid isolation, it was decorated so incredibly beautifully; the true treat was hearing roaming coyotes through the night and feeling each passing breeze.
Yes, I brought a gown and my camera gear to go camping, just in case I felt inspired, and I’m glad I did.✨
