Meet Abel — the newest member of Alpha One Photography. 🖤 Abel is my personal protection dog and, at five years old, he came to me already titled, confident, social, and ready for his next adventure. With as much traveling as I do for dog sports, finding a finished adult protection dog with the right temperament was incredibly important. He needed to be capable of doing his job when needed, while also being stable, social, and able to peacefully coexist with the rest of my dogs.
Kelsey with Lead Change Working Dogs made the perfect match when she introduced me to Abel. Abel has quickly settled into life with the our dogs — including becoming besties with one of our Goldens. 🥹
Beyond his role as a personal protection dog, Abel is an incredibly fun working partner. We are training towards our CD and PSA 1, with plans to have some fun competing in IronDog International and UpDog along the way. He’s also been introduced to Fast CAT… although apparently chasing trash bunnies isn’t nearly as exciting when you’ve already had a taste of decoys 😂
