I did all photography for a luxury vacation home rental company to include real estate shoots and lifestyle photography. I also handled maternity/newborn photos, family photos, professional portraits, and weddings! I followed my Navy husband, Jacob, to Virginia Beach and now to Saunders County, Nebraska!

Today is Katie and Jason’s big day! So excited to celebrate with them. This one is especially fun because my husband is officiating, my daughter is the flower girl, and I’m photographing it! It should be a very interesting and entertaining day for all of us! Stay tuned for all the chaos! 😆

It was the most relaxed wedding day I’ve ever experienced. So relaxed that it almost felt wrong, but it’s just how they wanted it. I still look back at these in awe.

There was just something about the way they loved each other that you could feel without them having to say a word. No rushing, no pressure, no need for the day to be anything other than what it was. They were completely present with each other, and it was so obvious how deeply they love one another.

A glimpse of their day✨

So many feels going back through their album and reliving this day. You can’t tell from the gallery, but it was a very rainy day. If you don’t know, rain can add a lot of stress to a wedding day even if it is “good luck”. God was on our side though and gave us enough of a break for what we needed, most importantly… their beautiful ceremony. I am so happy for these two and so grateful I got to celebrate with them✨

It’s pretty rare that the groom has a vision of what he wants photos taken of but Robert was all about it!! He wanted nothing more than to wander out into this field at sunset and I was so freaking excited! The grass was tall, the bugs were unforgiving, the possibility of poison ivy apparently existed? And oh yeah, did I mention snakes?? Worth it tho 😎

Sheriff Makayla and her girls! 🧡
Funny story from before the ceremony...
Typically, I meet with my couples before their wedding day, so I have a chance to get to know them a little better… like what they do for work. But with Makayla and Robert, that just didn’t happen.
So we’re all hanging out in the bridal suite before the ceremony, and Makayla casually mentions that she had dealt with a house fire AND a shooting in the same day.
I’m standing there thinking, “What the heck?! Who has to experience two traumatic events like that in one day?!”
I finally interrupted and said, “Wait... what do you mean?!”
That’s when she laughed and added one very important detail:
“I’m a sheriff.”
Suddenly everything made a whole lot more sense. 😂
I mean... can you imagine hearing that without any context?!

If you’re crying I’m crying, and this one I cried a lottttttt at 😂 Brianna and Beau got married at the most beautiful church, I was in awe literally the entire time. In awe over them, the love surrounding them, and this church. 10/10
