Yesterday I had the honor and joy of doing a unique photoshoot with 2 of my nieces, Brealynn and Cora Lee.
Mary Jo, Brealynn's mom, came to with a shoot she saw on Instagram, and wanted to see if I was up for the challenge. After some research, and reaching out to one of my mentors, I did these images, these are only a few of the great ones we took.
The girls had a blast doing the shoot and i had an even better time knowing that I was capable of doing for a shoot like this! Definitely stepped up to the challenge.
Yes, there was chalk everywhere, and yes, I will be cleaning the equipment for the next 2 days,but it was worth it.
SN: These images are quick edits on Lightroom mobile app, I will have better edits in a week or so, stay tuned.
And Mary Jo, thanks for believing in me, and thanks to Jazz for helping out too.

Full Plumage
I can finally post this image after waiting on a review/critique from
Yet again, another image that has potential, means I missed merit by 2 or 3 points. Not gonna lie, im happy with the critique, I see the mistakes I made, like not cropping far enough and not lighting the details in the skirt, yes, its a skirt, agh!
Definitely got good reviews on the exposure, have to be honest it wasn't a bad review.
I'm ready to shoot and try again.
1st image is the way it was edited after the critique
2nd image is the one I should've entered.
3rd image is how I submitted it.
There should be a fourth image, because the critique said they think a B&W would've been amazing! What do you think, should I edit it in b&Will?

I had the pleasure of doing a quick softball shoot with the ladies if Wakulla Christian Softball yesterday afternoon.
This was down with one light, B1600 Alienbee and the sun as my backlight. Camera was a Canon D90 with the Canon 24-70mm 2.8

It was a busy weekend of shooting lacrosse games, that were hosted at Harkins Field, in Tallahassee, Fl., by FSU Men's Lacrosse Club with JU and Clemson in attendace.
FSU walked away with 2 wins one against JU and one against Clemson.
Here are a few images from the Ju vs Clemson game that was on Saturday.

Formal Defiance
Now that I'm aging USA is over, I can finally post the images that I took to submi. I only submitted 2 images.
Im happy with how these turned out and definitely had so much fun with shooting this series.
Used a one light setup for this shot.

I was honored to be a part of Almar and Maria's engagement day. They venue they choose, Cedar Lake Woods and Gardens, was beautiful and they had nice Christmas decorations and lights around the property. The couple were glowing on their special day. We were able to take lovely pictures throughout the gardens. I wish them happiness in their future together.

I know the reel I posted yesterday of this shoot was quick(for those whonsaw it in my Instagramstory on my personal page), so here are the images again.
This Christmas shoot was done at Santosku Studio in Orlando, Fl., part of a workshop held by Nikon ambassador, Gilmar Smith and in collaboration with Nikon.
During this workshop we were giving the opportunity to test the Nikon Z5ii and a few of the lenses, I went with 24-70mm 2.8, and let me say im in love with the feel of the camera, the sharpness and the overall feel. Was definitely sold on the in camera presets, and it was even more amazing to know that Gilmar had added 4 of her own to the camera.
The Christmas setup was 2 continuous lights, Godox brands. The model, Ciera was amazing, some of the poses, was me jumping in and being a creative director, which the other photographers loved.
BIg shout out to Alfredo and Cindy, the Nikon reps who were there to answer any questions on the camera.
Definitely haven't shirt with continuous lights since school but now I'm looking into getting back into it.
Let me know which one is your favorite.
Ans those who are in the market for a new camera i would say check this one out along with the Z50, Z6ii and Z50ii.
I miss shooting with my Nikon,but may be getting this in the next few months are so.

Had the pleasure last week of capturing some shots from the first FSU Lacrosee Camp hosted by FSU Lacorosse Club and Coach Jonas.
It was a great camp and im looking forward to shooting it again, ans hopefully some of the young men pictured and future attendees.
