Another abstract lake reflection photograph that I bypassed a few years ago. Now I see it from a new perspective. I have not printed this. And the colors are true to the original photograph. Just light has been manipulated to bring out those colors.

Another old lake reflection photograph. This is a reflection of a canvas/sail at a marina. It almost looks like a black & white, but there is a touch of the light blue. So these are the colors of the reflection.
I did brightness/contrast with some other light manipulation. I did experiment with color saturation to try to find the underlying colors, but it looked horrible and not natural. Unlike this image which looks like material. So cool.

Ink Well of Light
The digital image, and 2 photo prints I have sold, have more silver-gray color than the print with the blue matte. That print is my original and has more green. That is what manipulating the light does. It enhances some colors and inhibits other colors in a digital image. I may have manipulated the color a little to move from green to blue, but I did not move it much.

I like it, but I am not sure why. This is another revised photo from the past and has not been printed. I like the colors and I can't decide if it an imitation of Dali, spooky, or has an alien feel.

I think of paints splashed, or somehow moving across a canvas, when I see these images. Some of them I can see them the size of a wall, although I am not sure this one is like that.

Peacock Feathers
Click on the photos to see the differences between the 2 prints and the digital photo image.
Ink printed on paper changes with a photo printer. Even in this day and age. That means no 2 photo prints I produce will ever be exactly the same. That is the printer. It is also how I manipulate the late, which manipulates the solidity of color in spots, of each photo print.
