Ever see a raft made of fire ants? Yea, me neither ... til today. Over three inches of rain caused a bit of flooding. These little things straight from hell all grabbed on to the few that are holding that piece of grass. Literally a float of fire ants. The ones that broke away and were floating away found their way to safety ... my feet. Thus my labeling them as being straight from hell. They seemed to hold on with teeth.

In honor of Clem (or Papa as our family calls him), June 4th is Banana Split for Dinner Day. Hey Papa, found a place here in Fayetteville that knows how to serve up banana splits just the way you liked them ... classic. Pythian Parlour not only knows how to make them, they have good old fashioned, fresh ingredients. And, yup, I ate the whole thing. Happy Birthday Papa.
