Prior to the shoot Jackson (almost 5) was less than thrilled with having to change his clothes and get his hair done. We were all a little worried about how the shoot was going to go, but boy did he have fun! Let's just say the word "smile'" was not mentioned the whole time! When I was gathering my things to head out Jackson said "Um Bacole (thats what he calls me) can you come back tomorrow to take more pictures?" I would definitely call that a success!

Golden hour, (my favorite time to do an outdoor photoshoot)
During COVID, it’s hard to imagine things can still be shimmery and warm.
But golden hour always delivers 🙌🏻
My grandma called in a panic, feeling like Kale will forget her.
“Let’s go for a walk.” I said.
Kale and I snuck out into the dwindling day to spend a little time with her. We giggled in the setting sun. Simply being together, not through a screen, but actually together.
It can be hard to remember that these fulfilling moments still exist, but they do, sometimes we just have to make them happen!
