Years ago I coached Toolon cheer, and I had this little girl on my cheer squad that was so cute, so sweet and sooo quiet. I remember her forgetting her sneakers on the day of our competition and I had to run the length of the SRC arena to grab her shoes and get them on her before we competed. It was Mya. Still sweet, still cute 🥰 but no longer quiet. Now I’ve watched her play softball, basketball and volleyball. You feel her presence on whatever court or field she steps on. Mya, some years are for growing but this one is for blooming. You have become an amazing young lady and I know you are capable of doing amazing things.

When you find a rare, gorgeous humans in life… celebrate her. She’s as stunning as she is kind. She is sweet, capable and strong. It’s this perfect mix of butterflies and big dreams… a little nervous energy, a lot of excitement, and all the hope in the world for what’s ahead. You can feel the future in the air—and I get to capture it. ✨🎓💫
