Took photos recently of a neat rental in Sylva (nicknamed the Hobbit Hole) that I liked a lot. A few minutes on foot will have you anywhere you want along the upper and lower streets of Downtown Sylva, so it's perfect for visiting family and friends. Ms. Amanda Lacy was the one who remodeled and furnished it.

Some recent land I did drone shots of and a home that had one of the best views I've photographed. Land was in Cullowhee and the home was in Whittier, above the country club.

A beautiful home in Maggie Valley that I was fortunate to take photos of this past weekend. Still learning to see flaws that need touched up and to take a step away from editing to come back to it with fresh eyes but liked how the pictures came out. So happy that I picked up my AD200Pro a couple months back or lighting this living room would have been impossible. Next on the list is either an AD600 or 400 Pro. I doubt I'll ever need the full power of the 6 but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Was hired recently to do some exterior work at a house in Cashiers and was really pleased with how the final edits came out. I gave the client a few different sky replacements to choose from.

Been practicing with removing objects from photos. It can be incredibly easy or difficult, depending on each shot and what you have to work with. Cloning textures and healing sections of a picture requires having something around to pull from. These four photos show how much of a difference it can make to be able to do.

A comparison between original and edited photos. Given that it takes years to master editing, this will only get better with time. Often, the difference between the original and edit will be subtle but there's almost always a vibrancy to the edit that wasn't there before.

I could've toned down the opacity when combining them but I think it still turned out fairly well.
