This is how I feel about the first snow of the year

Okay but really, I genuinely mean this…
I love when kids show all of their emotions during a sessions. Yes, that includes crying or throwing a fit. Don’t stress, we can absolutely still capture the shot for a holiday card or to send to your in laws but also let’s just let kids be who they are.
Don’t ever stress for my benefit about these wonderful bundles of energy letting their feelings be known. ALL the photos my own parents laugh and look back on are the ones where we were throwing a fit in a JCPenney session 😂. There is such beauty in the most authentic moments. It’s why I do what I do.

Walking the dogs with your partner can be such an intimate/fun/ silly experience in a relationship.
Not everything has to be posed to be beautiful, I’d argue the most beautiful things never are.

Part 2: Twins earthside!

I don’t think there is anything better as a photographer than getting to capture maternity photos and then also get to take newborn photos once the baby, or in this case babies arrive. The baby fever is strong though!

As a reminder you can ALWAYS ask me not to share faces or photos you don’t want on the internet. As a mother myself I completely respect each family’s choice of how much or how little to share! No explanation needed 💕
