A look back at our April trip to the Philippines 🇵🇭

From the colorful gardens of Euphoria Flower Farm in Tupi, South Cotabato, to Crossing Repolyo in Polomolok and the white sand of Gumasa Beach at White Haven Beach Resort in Glan, Sarangani.

So many beautiful places, great memories, and moments with family packed into one trip.

Sometimes the best part of photography is being able to come back to these moments months later.

A little look back at our April trip to the Philippines 🇵🇭

I was going through some of my photos from Mindanao and realized I never shared many of these.

A good portion of these were taken at Euphoria Flower Farm & Adventure Park in Tupi, South Cotabato, surrounded by colorful gardens and the beautiful highland scenery of southern Mindanao. Between the flowers, mountain views, people working among the plants, and all the activity around the park, there was something interesting to photograph everywhere I looked.

One of the photos was taken at Crossing Repolyo in Polomolok, South Cotabato, another memorable stop along the way.

The beach photos are from White Haven Beach Resort at Gumasa Beach in Glan, Sarangani. It was a completely different setting—white sand, tropical scenery, and some great relaxed moments with family.

One of the things I enjoy most about traveling with a camera is that the photographs bring back much more than just what a place looked like. They bring back the people, the weather, the conversations, and all the little moments in between.

Hard to believe this was already back in April.

Good morning, Swanton Village! ☀️

A beautiful start to the day over Swanton this morning.

Golden light over the village, the Missisquoi River almost perfectly still, and the mountains stretching across the horizon. Mornings like this are a pretty good reminder of what a beautiful corner of Vermont we get to call home.

A look at Saint Albans from a few different perspectives. 📸🚁

I recently had the opportunity to photograph several areas around the City of Saint Albans, capturing everything from the flowers and activity downtown and in Taylor Park to Hard’ack Pool, city facilities, and ongoing development.

One of the things I enjoy most about this kind of project is combining traditional photography with aerial imagery. From street level, you see the details that give a community its character. From the air, you get an entirely different sense of how everything fits together.

I’ve seen a few posts lately showing off the huge American flag at the new Camping World here in St. Albans, so I figured I’d add a slightly different perspective. 🇺🇸

It’s impressive from the ground, but seeing the size of this flag from the air really puts it into perspective.
