Such a special Tilly Project session with sweet Paisley and the two amazing women who love her most — her mom and grandma. Some dogs really dislike solo images and turn their noses up at me or fully refuse to look at the camera. This was Paisley. Unless, she was in her loved ones arms...

I always recommend families to bring some beloved items with them to their Tilly Project session. For Paisley, that item was her favorite treat (broccoli 🥦). I hope the images we captured shows what matters most: connection and love.

Sometimes the best sessions happen when you take a chance.

This senior session was a perfect reminder of that. We battled unpredictable weather, watched the clouds closely, and finally decided to go for it in between the rain—and I’m so glad we did. The skies were gorgeous as was this senior.

She brought her love for dance, nature, and flowers into every moment. The movement, the soft light after the rain, and her joyful spirit made the session feel extra magical. Proof that a little uncertainty can lead to something truly beautiful.

So excited for all that’s ahead of her as she steps into this next chapter.

Spending time with families like this one is the reason I love what I do.

This photography session at Elm Grove Park was filled with laughter, gentle moments, and so much love. Two wonderful kids, a sweet family dog, and parents who made every moment feel easy and joyful—it was one of those sessions where everything just flowed naturally. Families like these are why I feel I don't have clients, I have friends.

We explored the park, let the kids be themselves, and captured the kind of moments that tell a real story. These are the memories that last long after the photos are taken.

So grateful to document such kind, loving families and the beautiful connections they share.

I have been absent in posting and I had so many amazing sessions that my clients allowed me to use and they all deserve spots.

I met Ms. Haley with her two amazing pups, Yoshimi and Sully at Lion's Den Gorge. There’s something incredibly special about photographing stories that celebrate love in all its seasons.

This session at Lion’s Den Gorge along Lake Michigan was one of those moments. Haley came with her two little dogs—one full of s***k, and the other beautifully old, moving a bit slower but clearly so loved. We took our time, let the breeze roll in off the lake, and captured the quiet connection between them against the cliffs, trails, and shoreline.

Sessions like this are a reminder that photos aren’t just about posing—they’re about honoring companionship, memories, and the bond we share with those who walk life beside us.

Goodbye, Sweet Sanders

This is a really hard one for me to post. One of my best dog friends, Sanders, has crossed the rainbow bridge. Though he wasn’t my dog, I was lucky to babysit him often—and he truly became part of my families home and hearts.

Sanders had a gentle soul and a big personality. He loved pets (the more, the better!) and had a special talent for singing along with the piano—his own unique kind of duet. He took his job as squirrel patrol very seriously, proudly keeping the yard safe and critter-free. And oh, how he loved his walks… every step was an adventure.

We’ll miss the sound of his paws and his joyful tail wags. You helped us heal from the loss of our own pup. You were the best.

Rest easy, sweet boy. You were so loved.

My husband and I just got back from our first getaway without the kids — a big milestone for us! ✈️💑 We used to travel a lot before becoming parents, and now we’re in that phase of wanting to experience everything with them. But after 20 years of marriage, a little grown-up adventure felt pretty special (and well deserved!). 💛

Now, with a full heart, I want to introduce you to this absolute cutie: Sophie Jean. 🐾 How could anyone not fall head over heels for that sweet face?! Some dogs just steal your heart the second you meet them — and Sophie Jean did exactly that. 🐶✨

As promised, here are more images from my session with the adorable Apollo and Clover, two kitties I had the pleasure of photographing at Elm Grove Park! 🐾✨

And bonus – I got to hang out with their incredibly sweet (and engaged!) parents. 💍 It’s always such a treat to capture not only the pets but the love between families, and these two were radiating joy.

Elm Grove Park was absolutely magical! 🌿🌸 From the bridge to the wildflowers, the soft light, and the serene lake – it’s such a perfect spot for any session. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking it out.

Also… can we talk about how in love these two are? 😍 Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful couple to photograph.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there! 🙌💙 I may sometimes tease the dads during my sessions, but let’s be real – they’re the ones who always know how to keep everyone relaxed and having fun. 😎

One of the absolute best parts of my job is getting to witness the bond between dads and their kiddos. It’s pure magic, especially when you see the joy and laughter that come from those special moments.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing two adorable kitties with their awesome parents at Elm Grove Park. I can’t wait to share more from this beautiful session, but for now, here’s a little sneak peek at the sweet love between a dad and his kitty. 🐾💕

📸✨ TILLY PROJECT SESSION ALERT ✨📸

We had the absolute honor of capturing a special Tilly Project session with sweet Luna 🌙🐾 — a session filled with love, snuggles, and moments with her favorite pastime - ball play.

Luna’s family reached out to preserve memories of their beautiful girl, and it was truly touching to witness the deep bond they share. These sessions are a reminder that every paw print on our hearts is forever. Luna was recently diagnosed with melanoma - a heartbreaking diagnosis for any pet parent.

Thank you to Luna for showing us what unconditional love looks like, and to her family for allowing us to document such a meaningful chapter. 💛
