At the beginning of March I got a message from a friend back home. Some unexpected and exciting life events were happening and someone was needed to be here in Arizona to document it (since one of the unexpected parts was that it was supposed to take place in Indiana). I was overwhelmed with a lot of emotions for her. Grateful to be thought of and to be mere miles from where it needed to be, excited to be a part of such a personal and sweet beginning and sad that she wouldn’t be able to see it in person. About a week after she contacted me I helped set the stage for such a beautiful young couple to start a life together and for their family across the country to be able to be a part of it in a small way. What a completely wonderful way to end a Monday in March! Congratulations Tanner and Senica!

Edit: added video in the comments my daughter helped out by pretending to take a picture of them so we could get video and photo.

Took a little trip to the east valley yesterday to do a senior shoot with Simon. Let me tell you for a kid that doesn't like pictures he was sure photogenic and easy to work with. Thank you Roxy and Justin for trusting me to create these memories for you.

(Also the look you get when you tell kids you're working with someone you went to high school with and you live 1900 miles from home is pretty priceless)

Sometimes you don't always get a perfect picture...a lot of times when there is a 2 year old involved its a tough shoot, but life isn't perfect and the perfect picture might just be imperfect. I love these people with all my heart and so glad to call them part of my tribe...Adalie Michele you made me sweat but for you I'd do it all again.
