Save this if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by other people’s opinions.

Or share it with someone planning an adventure elopement that breaks all the “rules.”

Not everyone will understand why you chose to elope.
And honestly? That’s okay.

You might hear things like:
“But what about your grandparents?”
“Don’t you want a real wedding?”
“Won’t you regret not doing it the traditional way?”

But here’s the truth:
This day isn’t about them.
It’s about you two.
It’s about creating a wedding day that actually feels like you—
Laid-back, adventurous, wildly intentional.

Cassidy & Brody didn’t plan a performance.
They planned an experience—an off-road elopement deep in Moab.
With nothing but open sky, red cliffs, and the people who truly mattered.

From bumping down dusty trails to reading vows on the edge of the world…
And ending it under the stars,
Their elopement wasn’t just beautiful.
It was theirs.

And if you’re ready to start planning your Moab elopement?
DM me “Moab” and I’ll help you bring it to life.

You won’t believe where this couple got ready for their elopement…Spoiler: it wasn’t your typical bridal suite.

From putting on makeup in hiking boots at Cathedral Rock to kissing at the edge of Merry Go Round Rock, this day was wild, bold, and completely unforgettable.

When you’re eloping in Sedona, the red rocks become your dressing room, your ceremony site, and your ultimate backdrop. This couple ditched the ballroom for the bold cliffs of Cathedral Rock—and the result? Pure magic.

As a Sedona elopement photographers and videographers, we’re here to capture not just the views, but the raw, unscripted moments—from fixing makeup on a cliffside to saying vows with your toes inches from the edge.

Our job isn’t just snapping photos—it’s creating space for couples to be fully present in breathtaking places. Whether it’s Cathedral Rock’s iconic spires or the dramatic drop-offs at Merry Go Round Rock, these landscapes become part of your story.

Whether you’re dreaming of an epic adventure or just want to escape the stress of a traditional wedding, Sedona offers something truly unforgettable. And I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

These last couple weeks have been BRUTAL! We all got sick one after the other 🤢 even one of our dogs got sick and was puking all over the carpet for a couple days! 🫣

We are finally recovering 🙌🏼

I was hoping to have one more Sedona Day Trip adventure before baby number 2 comes but we’ll see! At almost 37 weeks pregnant I don’t know if I have it in me 😅

So for now enjoy these photos from one of our most FAVORITE adventures in Moab! Baby Bodhi was 6.5 months old 🥰

5 Tips for Eloping in Sedona!

Comment “SEDONA ELOPEMENT” and I’ll DM you our FREE “How to Elope in Sedona” Guide! 🤩

1️⃣ Pick the Perfect Season:
Sedona’s weather can be extreme—spring and fall offer the most comfortable temperatures. Summers can get very hot, and winter mornings are chilly. Plan accordingly!

2️⃣ Choose the Right Location:
Sedona has incredible red rock spots like Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Merry-Go-Round Rock. Consider accessibility, time of day, and crowd levels when deciding.

3️⃣ Pack for the Terrain:
Bring sturdy shoes for hiking to your elopement spot and layers to stay comfortable in Sedona’s ever-changing weather. Don’t forget water—staying hydrated is key!

4️⃣ Timing is Everything:
Sunrise and sunset are magical times to capture Sedona’s golden glow. Plus, you’ll avoid midday heat and crowds!

5️⃣ Hire a Local Expert:
Sedona can be tricky to navigate, especially off-road. Work with an elopement photographer and videographer who knows the terrain and can guide you to the best hidden gems.

Plans could have gone completely wrong on this day!😬

When we showed up to this location for this Sedona elopement at Merry-Go-Round Rock, there was one other couple there already performing their ceremony in the same spot where we planned on doing the ceremony.

Instead of waiting, we decided to take our couple’s portraits first and then do the ceremony after. GOOD THING! Because literally, THREE other couples showed up as we were finishing couple’s portraits which was immediately before sunset!

For this location, most couples like to take their couple’s portraits on the “hole in the rock” at sunset because it gives such a beautiful gold glow.

Had we waited for the first couple to finish their ceremony so we could do our ceremony, and then do couple’s portraits at sunset, we definitely wouldn’t have had time to take portraits on the hole in the rock, NOT WITH THREE COUPLE’S waiting in line for that spot! 🙌🏼

We are so good at planning ahead, creating our timeline, and managing our couple’s expectations. We had already let the couple know, in our zoom calls, that this could happen and that we wanna make sure they are flexible with the timeline and of course they were!

So when this happened on the day of, instead of us all stressing out or trying to figure out at that moment what to do next, we were all calm and happy and already knew what to do! 👊🏼

Be sure to hire an expert for your elopement location that can give you options because you do not wanna be stressed on your wedding day!

BONUS! Look how AMAZING 🤩 their ceremony images came out since the ceremony was at sunset instead! 🤩🤩🤩
