We relived our youth this weekend at KD to include their Halloween haunt night👻🎃🧟‍♂️

Jake’s fave part was the roller coasters, esp the 200ft drop ride, which my voice is still gone from.

Best part of the night for me was when the monsters in the haunted houses asked us about insurance 💀 if you’re thinking of going get the express passes - totally worth it!

You know how sometimes you’re out surfing and you catch a great wave and you think, dang I hope my friends saw that! And THEN you find out your photographer friend was on the beach and she saw it, and got a PHOTO of it!? Well that actually happened today 🫠

Can you tell me what species of wood this is, and which side you like more? 👀

On my scale of wood hardness, this one is super hard. Not terrible to cut through, but when wetting it between sands it barely soaked up any water.

And apparently this species is great for outdoor use bc of its durability against rot. So that checks out.

And the orange-red stripe down the center may turn darker over time. How much time? No idea, first time using it. But we gotta plans for it 🙌

Tried a new paper, this one is velvet. 10/10, highly recommend. Looks almost like a watercolor 👀 and Otto says hi.

4AM wake up this morning to get Jake to an early appt in Chapel Hill & then we stopped at to swap out some prints! Then headed back home to work until 7PM to make up the time, preceded by a 10hr workday to also help make up said time…is it Friday yet?🫠

Also we did dry December & January (but with energy drinks, not booze) and I had one today and I think I’ll be awake the rest of the week.

I’ve always wanted to get the top down shot of snow on the beach 🙌🏻 who would have thought it would happen here in NC 👀 ...
