Still not quite over Ema & Isaiah’s destination wedding in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. Delivering their final gallery this week has me reminiscing over their couple portraits and what an incredible day it was from beginning to end.

One of my favorite parts of photographing destination weddings is getting to create images in places that are meaningful to my couples while preserving memories they’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Lately, I’ve been reminded how easy it is to fall into the comparison trap.
One scroll through social media and suddenly you’re questioning your work, your progress, your business, or your life.
But comparison only steals the joy of what you’ve already built.
The couples I photograph don’t need a Pinterest-perfect wedding.
The seniors I photograph don’t need insta worthy photos.
And I don’t need to run my business exactly like someone else.
What matters most is showing up authentically, serving people well, and celebrating the season you’re in.
There is so much freedom in focusing on your own path.
Today, I’m choosing gratitude over comparison. 🤍

Four girls. Four stories. Four bright futures standing side by side today 🎓🧡💙

Abby, Ashley Rae, Maddie, and Chloe today marks the end of a chapter that shaped so much of who you are, but it’s also the beginning of becoming everything you’re meant to be.

There’s something bittersweet about graduation day. The memories, friendships, traditions, and moments that once felt endless suddenly become part of the story you’ll carry forever. But if there’s one thing I hope each of you remembers, it’s this: you do not have to have your whole future figured out to step boldly into it. ✨

The world needs kind hearts, strong women, dreamers, leaders, and people willing to make a difference and I truly believe all four of you are exactly that.

I am so proud to have captured this season of your lives and cannot wait to watch where life takes each of you next 🤍 Congratulations, girls!

Reese, last night was more than a graduation… it was the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a brand new one 🎓✨

There’s something so emotional about watching seniors step into the future they’ve worked so hard for. Leaving behind familiar hallways, childhood memories, and the version of themselves that grew up here. And somehow, in the middle of all of that change, there’s so much beauty in seeing who they’re becoming. 🤍

I am so incredibly proud of you, Reese. You are quite literally a ray of sunshine! Every room you walk into changes just from your presence. Your future is so bright, and I hope you walk into this next season with confidence knowing you are capable of amazing things.

Next stop: North Greenville University! The world is waiting for everything you’re about to become ✨

Today, we celebrate SHAYE!!! 🎓💙💛🤍

From the halls of Sumter High School to all the incredible places life is about to take her, this is only the beginning of such a beautiful story. Watching her senior year unfold has been such a joy, and I couldn’t be more proud of the strong, kind, and determined young woman she is becoming.

Shaye, never forget that your worth is not measured by how quickly you have it all figured out, but by the heart, resilience, and light you carry with you along the way. Keep chasing the things that make you come alive, trust yourself in every new season, and know that you are capable of more than you could ever imagine.

To my Wilson Hall seniors, today is YOUR day!!! 🎓✨

Watching each of you grow throughout your senior year has been such an honor, and I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible people you are becoming. From the excitement of senior sessions to today’s graduation, this year has been filled with so many memories I know we’ll never forget.

Now you’re heading off to places like Clemson, Carolina, Wofford, and the University of Alabama — and while your paths may look different, one thing is the same: every single one of you has so much potential ahead of you.

Wherever life takes you next, I hope you walk into this new season with confidence, kindness, and courage. Chase the dreams that excite you, trust the process when life feels uncertain, and never forget how capable you are. The world needs exactly what each of you brings to it.

So grateful I got to spend Chloe’s senior year alongside her and celebrate such a fun season of life with this beautiful, kind, and amazing senior! I already know she has so much ahead of her ✨
