It is with a heavy heart that I must say Michaelyn passed away after a valiant fight with cancer.
She never stopped believing, not in herself or the talent of others. She cherished family, music, a good book and creativity in all its forms. Throughout her life she shared her unbelievable photographic talent with countless others. Through the lens of her camera she captured everything from the first breath of a new life to the multi-generations of a family. She had a vision like no other and provided timeless memories and beauty for those of us lucky enough to have been around her.
She was kind, supportive and generous. She refused to compromise her beliefs and always said she had the best job in the world because she was doing what she loved. If you were lucky enough to have been in her orbit and wish to honor her life in any way, then go out and live your dreams whatever those may be, just as she did hers.
