The final session from last weekend’s free micro minis… and what a perfect one to end on!

This sweet family showed up styled to the nines in their denim dresses and cowboy boots, and the moment I saw them I knew exactly where we had to shoot — the old Western TV set left behind in Strawn from filming that Yellowstone spinoff (1923? 1883? One of those 😅). I’ve been eyeing that location for almost a year now just waiting for the right vibe… and they nailed it without even knowing it.

They were an absolute joy to photograph and I’m obsessed with how these turned out.

Also — quick heads up! Because it’s hot hot HOT out here this summer, I don’t plan to host another round of free micro minis until September. But keep your eyes peeled because the spots go FAST once I post them.

I had the privilege of photographing this set of brothers during my free sessions this weekend, and I think the photos turned out so good! 😁

Drake, the older brother, has been making big moves in his life recently, and it’s safe to say a lot of people are really proud of how far he’s come! 👏✨️

Huge thank you to everyone who came out for this month’s free micro mini sessions! These shoots are something I do to give back, keep my creativity flowing, and connect with the community — and today was full of lovely faces and great energy! 💛

That said, I do need to speak on something: I had one person no-show their confirmed time slot today (and still has not responded to any messages). And while I know life happens, it’s incredibly frustrating — especially because I had so many people interested in taking part that I had to turn away once all the spots were booked.

When someone ghosts a session (especially one they confirmed just the night before), it wastes time and energy I’ve set aside, and it takes a spot away from someone who would have loved to be there. For that reason, if you no-show a confirmed spot without notice, you will be blacklisted from working with me again in the future - paid or free sessions.

I want to continue offering things like this to the community, but I also need to protect my time and energy.

Thanks again to everyone who came out today! Can’t wait to share some of the photos soon!

I hope everyone had a beautiful Mother’s Day yesterday! Whether you're a mom, celebrating one, remembering one, or just holding space for all the feelings that day can bring. 💐

A few weeks ago, I offered a little free Mother's Day micro-session, and I finally get to share some of the magic from it! Kourtney and her daughter Layla came out, and y’all… Layla is seriously the cutest. She brought all the sass, sweetness, and spark I could’ve hoped for, and their photos turned out so, so cute! 🥹💕

I’m opening up another round of FREE micro mini sessions at the park—this time with a full month of notice so you’ve got plenty of time to plan! 📸

These will be quick 10–15 minute sessions, perfect for:

👫 Couples
👶 Just the kids
📱 A fresh profile pic
(Any group up to 7 people max)
You'll get 3–5 edited photos delivered digitally completely free!
Tips/donations are super appreciated but absolutely not required. 💛

This session was so special—it marks the first of what I hope will be many *by-donation-only* photoshoots! I’ve decided to keep photography as a passion project, something that brings me joy and lets me connect with amazing people like the Woods family.

I truly believe everyone deserves beautiful photos they can treasure forever—regardless of their budget. That’s why all of my sessions are by donation only. No fixed rates, no pressure—just moments captured with love.

I had such a great time meeting the Woods family, exploring their beautiful home and land, and capturing these memories with them. I think the photos turned out so good, and I hope they love them as much as I do!

This Saturday in Strawn, I’m offering FREE micro mini sessions starting around 7 PM at the Strawn park area!

These sessions are perfect for anyone wanting some sweet pictures to post for Mother’s Day — whether it’s family photos, mommy & me, just the kids, or anything else (as long as it’s 7 people or fewer).

Details:
- It’s FREE!
- Tips/donations are *greatly appreciated* if you feel called to.
- You’ll receive 3-5 edited photos (as long as everyone cooperates)!
- Please message me to book a time if you can — but if you just show up while I'm there, and I have an opening, I’ll be happy to squeeze you in!

I’ve realized that I don’t really enjoy photography as a business. There’s so much that goes into it that people don’t always see—behind-the-scenes work, editing time, marketing, structured deadlines, and so much more. That’s just not what I want photography to be for me.

But I DO love capturing beautiful moments and giving people photos they can cherish forever. So, for the right now I'm offering *by-donation-only* mini sessions in Strawn, TX. You decide what my work is worth—whether it’s a little or a lot, it’s completely up to you! I'm fine with whatever price you give (even if it's only $5)!

This is meant to be a fun, relaxed, community-building thing, not a business service. Just me using my camera as a hobby. Because of that:
- I won’t have a set turnaround time for when you’ll get your photos. Typically you can expect within 2 weeks, but could take longer if life is just busy.
- I won’t guarantee a specific number of photos—you’ll get what I feel is my best work and what I want to edit. But I'll always keep in mind what your donation amount was and *will* make it worth the amount you paid.

Session details:
• Location: Outdoors in Strawn, TX (If outside Strawn, a travel fee will apply to cover gas.)
• Time: Evenings sometime between 5-7pm
• Duration: 20-60 mins
• Availability: Tues-Wed & Fri-Sun
• Not available for: Extended family sessions or bo***ir (unless private property is provided)

On the same day as Miriah’s family session, I also got to capture her sister and her boyfriend’s very first professional photoshoot! They scheduled their sessions back-to-back and all rode together, which made for such a fun afternoon.

These two are the *cutest* couple, and you’d never guess it was their first time in front of the camera—they absolutely nailed it! Their sweet, natural connection made my job *so* easy, and I loved getting to document this little chapter of their story.

I’m so excited to be back behind the camera and booking sessions again! Whether it’s your first-ever photoshoot or your hundredth, let’s make some magic together. 💫📸

✨️Better late than never, right?✨️

One of my favorite families came back to me for their family photos during the holiday season, and I couldn't be more excited to finally share them! I've been photographing Miriah for over a year or two now, and in that time, I've had the privilege of capturing not just her milestones, but also sessions for some of her closest friends. From solo portraits to her maternity session with baby Waylon, and now her first official family photoshoot—it's been such a joy to watch her grow as a person and as a mama. I’m beyond lucky to call her a friend.

These photos have been sitting in my drafts because some were Christmas gifts (and then I took a little break from photography), but now that I'm opening my books again, I figured it was time to get them out into the world—along with a few from another session with Miriah’s sister (but they get their own post! 😉)
