Some galleries are too good to rush. This intimate Brookfield, CT elopement had J and E keeping their day small on purpose, just the two of them and the people who actually matter, and I’ve been holding onto these because they hit different every time I look.

Two trees, one quiet hilltop, and a love that didn’t need a crowd to feel huge. The pink bouquet, the blue suit, the way they kept finding each other’s eyes all afternoon. This is exactly why I do what I do.

Details aren’t just details. They’re the shoes that are about to walk her toward forever. The dress she’s been picturing in her head for months. The rings sitting in a velvet box, waiting.
I always try to capture these moments with the human element in them, because a shoe on a shelf is just a shoe. But a bride reaching for her dress, holding the heels she picked out, fingers brushing the lace? That’s the story.
