The light was showing off, and these two had me in my feelings. 🥹🤍

The way he pulled her close, kissed her shoulder, and even took a few photos of his own because… look at her. I loved watching them just love on one another while we documented this season before meeting their baby.

Seeing these next chapters unfold for my couples is one of my favorite parts of what I do. It means so much to keep documenting their love as their families grow.

Golden light, barefoot by the water, and a little one who is already so loved. I could’ve photographed them all evening.

The sun was a paid actor, and these two understood the assignment. ☀️🥹

The way they look at each other, the little forehead kisses, the rings, the tattoos. So many details that made this engagement session feel completely theirs, and I’m obsessed with how it all came together. 🤍

I can’t believe I haven’t shared more from their August wedding because this day was SO beautiful.

They celebrated at Great River Golf Club, which is easily one of my favorite venues to photograph. Everything about their day was beautiful, but what I loved most was just how happy these two were. You could feel it all day.

So many laughs, so much love, and so many little moments happening in between everything else. Those are always the moments I find myself looking for.

Seriously one of my favorite parts of documenting surprise proposals. And these two were just the sweetest…even after I stalked them throughout the beautiful location he picked to pop the question! 😆

I feel like Hartford City Hall has become one of my regular spots lately, but somehow, every time I walk through these doors with a new couple, I see it differently.

Different personalities. Different energy. Different connection. And suddenly I’m finding new corners, new angles, and new ways to tell their story.

K + J showed up looking like THIS, so obviously we had to let the architecture, their all-black looks, and that absolutely gorgeous light do their thing. 😮‍💨

And can we talk about the LIGHT in here?! The soft natural light pouring through these windows is one of the reasons I will happily photograph here again and again.

Same beautiful building, but never the same session. That’s my favorite part. 🤍

One of the most special parts of what I do is being welcomed into people’s lives during some of their biggest moments.

Just two years ago, I was photographing this beautiful couple as they prepared to welcome their first baby. And now, here we are again, except this time that little baby is running around, stealing the show, and getting ready to become a big sister. 💗

It’s kind of crazy to think that so many of my clients start off as complete strangers, and then somehow I get invited back again and again to document new chapters of their lives.

The weddings, the pregnancies, the babies, the growing families… THAT part will never get old for me.

And getting to watch this family grow from three to four? So incredibly special. 🥹

Baby boy, you are already so loved. 💙

K + J understood the assignment. 🖤💍

A little romance, a little editorial, and a whole lot of “yeah, we’re getting married.” These two made their engagement session look way too easy.

And I have to say, adding little video moments like these during sessions has quickly become one of my favorite ways to tell a little more of the story. 🎥✨

I posted the reel on how I captured this fun wedding send off highlighting the bubbles and optical light wand, but the photos deserve their own moment.

Because THIS is exactly why I loved this combination so much.

The bubbles caught the light, the wands created so much movement, their people were having the absolute BEST time… and somehow it all matched these two perfectly: bright, bubbly and so much fun. 🤍

And a little photographer tip if you’re planning a send-off: don’t rush through it! Take your time, stay close to each other, look around, laugh, kiss and soak it all in. Give your photographer a chance to capture more than just one walk-through.

Also… swipe to the end because obviously we needed the kiss. 😂🫧
