“Just a forewarning… my husband doesn’t particularly love photos.”

You would be surprised how often I hear this before a session…and no I don’t take it personally.

You have to remember most dads don’t spend weeks planning the perfect outfits, researching multiple photographers, or counting down the days till family photoshoot day.

But I continue to see dads show up anyways.

Carrying their kids on their shoulders.
Telling silly jokes.
Snuggling toddlers who won’t sit still.
Playing with their kids who won’t smile.

And these little moments will become some of the most valuable photographs, that your kids can look back at for years to come!

(P.S. All of the dads featured in this post have nothing to do with the message of this post. They were all amazing during their sessions 😉)

In a digital world the big question is, why should I print my photos when I have them all on my phone?
