Goldie Sakoulas
Born: June 8,1934
Died: June 20,2024
From our mom:
I lived (a bit too long). I loved (friends and family, so much). I laughed (a lot- the only medication I wasn’t allergic to). I died (finally, I got tired).
Preceded in death by parents Anna and William Zarvos, sister Helen Kalivas, brother Harry Zarvos, and great granddaughter, Autumn Oja.
Left behind beloved husband, George Sakoulas, fabulous children Kimberly/Dan, Stacy/Pierre, Steve, Kristy/Werner, Byron/Christine, and the even more fabulous grandchildren and great grandchildren Stacy/Bret/Willow/Cooper, Garrett, Grace/Michael/Larke, Hannah/Ryan/Griffin/Sullivan, Samuel, Becker, Luke and Kyle, Sophie and Nicole, Addie and Maya, Jake and Grant.
From her kids:
We love mom for her bright energy, her caring and generous spirit, and – obviously – her sense of humor. She was our biggest cheerleader- she celebrated with us in every joy and stood by us through every sorrow. She worked hard; she sacrificed much; and she gave her all until the very last. Now that this beautiful soul has transitioned home, we will gratefully hold her Love close to our hearts forevermore, because Love never dies.
Services:
There will be visitation at The Novel Place, 9651 Barkley St, OP, KS 66212, on Saturday, August 31st from 2:00-4:00. To honor her wishes, a small family service will take place over the holidays when all of her family can be present. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Geeks for Kids https://geeks.learnscienceandmathclub.org/donate or a charity of your choice.
