I just realized something important: talking to Americans about weight, appearance, and clothing is a bad idea, whereas in the Eastern part of the planet, all of these topics are perfectly suitable for a small talk. This cultural difference was especially difficult for me as a photographer, as I have to discuss, change, adjust, and work with all of these things to get the right lines in the photo. I apologize if any of my wonderful clients felt uncomfortable (no one said this to me directly, but I’ve already learned about the “sugar code”). I continue my fantastic cultural journey across my beloved planet Earth.

Yesterday we shot some new beautiful photos in Mrs. Claus’s kitchen! I’ll be doing 15-minute Christmas photoshoots throughout December and January in Stillwater for $50 for 5 photos (I show all the photos taken, you can choose more). For Tulsa and Oklahoma City, I’m currently only doing one-hour sessions for $300 (no limit on the number of people).

What is the difference between the full 300 dollar photoshoot and the 45 dollar mini-photoshoot?

✔ Purpose: spontaneous shoot, to have fun and meet each other in a pleasurable atmosphere so you know who you should call when you will need to capture your wedding, birthday, important event or to create images for your business.
✔ Usual price is 100 usd, but there are limited spots available with a 55% discount for new clients-45 usd

I had the incredible opportunity to capture a stunning guitarist who uses his guitar to open people’s souls. Edgar Cruz is known for his fingerstyle arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” but no one can describe how magically he plays “Malaguena,” captivating the audience during his performance.

I offer mini photo sessions at Stillwater Botanical Garden. 15 minutes, 5 edited photos, $45. You can choose more photos—each five photos costs $45. Completion time: 3 business days.

And, of course, I’m always happy to do a one-hour personal photo session in my mobile photo studio (just in case your indoor Christmas tree is more beautiful than any studio one). The cost is $300 plus transportation. 30 edited photos, completion time: 7 business days.

«I know exactly what’s going on in your head before your wedding, sis.»

My photography is about the feelings and thoughts of most brides before their first wedding: weight, dress, shoes, cake decoration, invitations, first wedding night, decorations, stress, and fuss. Everything except her husband and her own desires. To implement the idea, I used the following methods:photo composition (I placed shoes, cake decoration, invitation, and decorations on top of the bride’s veil), and also changed the places of some things: the bride’s garter was on her neck instead of her leg as a sign of a tight strap around her neck, and the crumpled top—as a sign of her broken soul, disfigured by the demands of society and the current pressure of preparing for the wedding.

I used my favorite Renaissance style, which illuminates the image of a person with all their feelings, weaknesses, and truths from the darkness. To create this style, I used one light source, a vintage smoky background, and a greenish tone in the shadows.

The composition of this image is built on triangles (skirt, arm placement, top and chest, light on face, envelope) and repeating elements (necklace, shoes, fingers).
