Katie & Ryan 🤍

Their session was so much fun this past fall!! I got to go out to their farm and pet baby cows!! 🐄 and I got a full on tour of the farm and SO much info on how a dairy farm operates daily! It was actually one of the best times I’ve had at a session, and it was so great connecting with my clients! Cannot wait to photograph their wedding this coming fall on the very same property ☺️

I’m currently accepting trades of services! I’ll be having my third baby soon, and I’m in need of the following services:

🌷 house cleaning
🌷 vehicle detailing
🌷 prenatal massage
🌷 help with house renovations/handyman services
🌷 homemade/farm products (eggs, bread, meat, jam, etc)
🌷 anything our family might need

I can provide photography services between March 14-May 16.
I am looking to trade photography services (except weddings) that are of equal value to any of the above services!
Example: photo session is valued at $350, your trade must equal that amount. That could be one family photo session in trade for a few prenatal massages, or a few months worth of eggs, or maybe a couple hours of help with handyman work.

Kaylee & Matthew were blessed with the most beautiful and perfect winter wedding! It was the first 2026 wedding for me, and my first winter wedding! We've been praying for months for a light snow the day before or day of the wedding, and that's exactly what we got!! This was also the first time I walked down into a ditch on the side of a highway to stomp a little spot of snow, so that I could have my couple then get into the ditch for some beautiful falling snow pictures LOL but they turned out AMAZING!!!

Happy holidays!

Now that family and friends know, I can share the news with my clients! We’re having another baby! ☺️🤍

With that being said, I am going to be focusing more of my time on my growing family in 2026, and taking a slower and lesser approach for this coming year. I’m still going to be doing sessions and weddings- don’t worry! I just won’t be taking on as many sessions and weddings this coming year as I have in the past. I am fully booked for 2026 weddings, and I am opening my calendar for 2027 weddings!! 💍

Since I took on a lot of work during the second half of the year, I haven’t been as active on social media, and have barely posted any sessions and weddings I’ve done recently. So I’ll be sharing some of those soon for clients to see 😊

I have had a really good year, and looking forward to having an even better 2026! I will be spending time with my family for the next few weeks, so I’ll be “out of office” Dec 23rd through Jan 5. I will occasionally respond to messages and emails, but response time will be limited and slower than slower than usual.

Friendly reminder: please remember, photographers are humans too! 🤍

The truth is, this time of year is incredibly demanding for photographers. Turnaround times may be longer than usual, and response times might not be instant. Behind every gallery and every message is a person juggling back to back sessions, deadlines, editing marathons, family responsibilities, young children, and life in general. Most of us are one-person operations giving our absolute best. We don’t have a team of employees to help do the work for us. We’re shooting, editing, emailing, scheduling, posting, and keeping everything running solely ourselves.

A little patience and understanding goes a long way. Kindness doesn’t cost anything, and it truly makes a difference. Remember that your photographer is working hard to give you beautiful, polished images and the best possible experience even if it takes a bit longer than you hoped.

Thank you for supporting small businesses and for trusting us with your memories. ☺️🤍
