I'm still on a bit of a high from yesterday. I've seen estimates of 1-2K people who attended the demonstration yesterday, it's been said that it may be the largest demonstration to ever take place in Leesburg EVER. ... and I know a TON of people that wanted to come but couldn't due to other commitments, or fear - fear of violence, fear of the virus.

And even after everyone was gone, the signs had been placed on the fences, but there was no trash, no damage - intentional or accidental, there were no fights, no arrests, no... nothing... nothing bad. Most people even wore masks.

The town was filled with love and compassion and the desire to make a change for good. I am so proud of my town. Thank you for being awesome.

Yesterday afternoon, Friday, May 29, 2020,

He is the last Tuskegee Airman to receive his wings. American Legion Post 150

American Legion Post 150

On Memorial Day this year, please remember our country's brave defenders who have given “the last full measure of devotion” for our country, for our Constitution, and for our way of life. We are limited in gathering together to honor our fallen, but we honor them all the more in our hearts. We will never stop from joining in spirit to honor those who died in service to our great nation. These challenging times do not diminish our gratitude for what they did — for making the ultimate sacrifice.

So, on this Memorial Day 2020, Post 150 honors all fallen service members, each one of whom gave a priceless gift to defend our freedom. Thank you. We salute you.

After the Pentagon, Colonel Kloeppel served as deputy division chief for the Air Force Command and Control & Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center Plans and Program Directorate. In 2000 she returned to airborne weapons controlling as a Mission Crew Commander on JSTARS, Warner Robbins, Georgia.
