LCF Junior Rodeo 2026 🤠🐎🇺🇸

Fun fact about me: I grew up spending a good amount of time around horses at my Great Grandma and Granddad’s horse farm in Julesburg until they both passed away when I was around 15.

They would load all of us cousins into the bed of the pickup and drive us through their pastures to look at all of the horses. They let us name a few (Spirit and Rain - if you know, you know), and we’d ride them with our aunts and uncles for what felt like forever (one time ba****ck and my brother and I may or may not have fallen off, we’ll call that Uncle Greg’s fault😂).

I guess I didn’t realize how much I missed those days until I was here, taking these photos, and it felt a bit like coming home after a long time away🤍

One of life’s greatest blessings is getting to share it with your sister🩷👯🏼‍♀️

Capturing these twins for their senior session felt a little bit different than my normal senior sessions. For so much of their lives, they’ve shared the same classrooms, the same milestones, and so many of the same memories. But this season also marks the beginning of two unique paths, each with dreams, goals, and stories that are entirely their own.

I have gotten to watch these two girls grow and change over the last 4 years, and it was such a privilege to document this chapter for them—one that celebrates not only the bond they’ve built over the years, but the exciting future waiting for each of them.

Here’s to sisters, if you’re lucky enough to have one (or two like me), you know what I mean.

I had such a hard time choosing pictures for this post because they are genuinely all SO good!! Sarah is bubbly, funny, sweet and just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Can’t wait to keep working with her throughout her senior year !!

Parker Raye - 1 Year 🩵💐🎂

I’ve had the privilege to photograph my beautiful niece at so many stages of her first year of life, I can’t believe how quickly this year has flown by and that she’ll be a year old in just a week🥲

We dreamed up the backdrop for these photos with so much intention, and I think it turned out to be perfect and so so special. Sweet Parker sat in front of quilts hand-made by her Great Great Grandma Henrietta, Great Great Grandma Ruth, Great Great Grandma Molly, and Great Grandma Dolly🩷 Each one showing a kind of love that bridges the gap between generations, having been loved through time and now becoming beautiful family heirlooms that we get to cherish forever.

I’ve watched Tay and Wil tackle parenthood with so much admiration, often turning to them for advice in my own parenting journey. Seeing some of the things I love most about each of them shine through in Parker is a gift I never knew I needed.

Parky girl is all things sweet, sassy, and goofy. To know her is to love her, and to be someone she loves is the best thing. We’re so lucky that Charlie gets to grow up with Parker as his built in best friend (and probably his body guard someday)! I’m the luckiest aunt - and photographer to get to capture her beautiful little life🫶🏻 Happy almost birthday Parker Raye Gebhart🎈🎊
