Dandelions are so bad for yards and gardens, but so fascinating in many other ways. I was happy to find a few to photograph and present in a less weedy, more flowery way.

Happy International Women's Day! Hooray for women around the world and to all the wonderful women I know personally. Also hooray for my forsythias that are blooming today and lent themselves to this simple still life.

In honor of International Women's Day, I will donate 25% of my sales' proceeds to https://www.daysforgirls.org - an organization that provides sanitary supplies to women and girls around the world. If you haven't thought about it before, do just a little looking into the ways in which having access to menstrual supplies can change the course of a girl's life.

With a 52Frames theme of "reflections", I set up an elaborate mirrored panel hoping to get some amazing animal shots. The cats were less than cooperative, but adorable as always. But Greta took the assignment seriously with a contemplative look into the mirror.
