One of the things that keeps the Filipino community together anywhere in the world is basketball. 🏀🇵🇭
We may come from different places, different backgrounds, and sometimes even speak different dialects—but when that ball goes up, we all speak the same language. The language of passion, competition, camaraderie, and love for the game.
Last weekend, we came together once again for the 3rd Filipino STL Basketball League, and what a weekend it was! 🔥
From the opening tip to the final buzzer, the gym was filled with energy, intensity, laughter, cheers, and that unmistakable Filipino spirit. We saw players leave everything on the court, teammates lift each other up, families and friends cheering from the sidelines, and a community coming together to celebrate something we all love.
But this league is about more than just basketball.
It’s about creating friendships, building connections, bringing families together, and giving our community a place where we can feel at home—even when we are thousands of miles away from the Philippines. 🇵🇭❤️
A huge SALAMAT PO to all the players, teams, organizers, sponsors, families, supporters, and everyone who came out and made this league possible. Your passion and support are what make events like this more than just a tournament—they make them a celebration of our community. 🙏❤️
