Your kids being little- the way they squeeze on your leg as a toddler or crinkle their nose when they laugh, the way your face lights up when I ask how you met your partner, your first dance as a married couple, your oldest as a high school senior, your entire extended family all together, the birth of your child. I’ve photographed weddings for 13 years, and every once in a while, there’s one that stays with you.

The severe weather alarms were going off. He dropped the ring. There was so much laughter, so many tears, and so so much love 💕

I found myself crying when going through their photos. Not because everything went perfectly—but because they’re perfect together. The way they look at each other, laugh together, and love each other is something truly special.

After all these years, I can honestly say this kind of love is rare. ❤️

Also- I totally get the planning family photos- outfits and chaos all the way up to tweens/teens & husbands who don’t love doing them but love you 🫶🏼
