Selkirk Shores State Park

I took this earlier in the year while in upstate New York at the power plant. The power plant is Nine Mile point nuclear station located on lake Ontario roughly an hour north of Syracuse NY. I was working nights at the plant and would stop by the park to eat my breakfast and wake up with some photography every morning. This was usually the only sunlight id see all day until I woke up the next day to go back into work so I made sure to make it count.

The beach ended up being in a perfect location to catch the sun dipping behind the plant and creating a nice rich contrast.

This is the jpeg straight from my camera, no post editing anywhere. My camera and settings are as follows.

I was talking the beach in Barcelona when I happened to notice this surfer catching a wave. As luck would have it he got the perfect set up to ride the tube, and as my luck would have it, I was in the perfect position to catch it with my 200mm lens.
I have an after shot as well and you can see his excitment at the moment he just experienced.

Missouri Botaical Garden

I volunteer at Annie's Hope-the center for grieving kids. They arranged an evening at the Missouri Botanical Gardens and every time I go, I take my camera because you never know what you will see. MBG is one of my favorite place to photograph.

I noticed this eastern Hercules beetle in my mulch in my backyard so I grabbed my macro lens and camera with AK defuser and godox tt 600 flash , and so I laid on the ground to be even with him and took multiple shots and my wife thought I was crazy laying on the ground in the mulch but I wanted the best possible shot I could get

I was walking around St. Louis looking for interesting patterns and overlooked details when these bike racks caught my eye. Instead of photographing them as they were, I got low to the ground and centered myself until each ring lined up perfectly, creating a tunnel effect. I wanted to show how everyday objects can become something abstract and almost hypnotic when viewed from the right perspective. The moody edit was meant to emphasize the repetition, light, and symmetry while giving the scene a cinematic atmosphere.
