What a sweet day celebrating Ashley & Evan! Part 1 of their wedding day, the beginning! From their details, to their ceremony, everything was beyond perfect! I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room when Ashley and Evan read their vows to each other.

It was a rainy Saturday and the rain stopped just in time for their portraits! Not even a second after we finished photos, it started pouring. Talk about perfect timing!! Can’t wait to share more from the rest of their wedding day! I’m still thinking about the temp tattoo bar and that banger of a playlist!

Kimber + Matthew, part two. 🥹

Back in January, I got to photograph these two saying “I do” at the courthouse in their hometown. Just them, their love, and the beginning of this next chapter.

Fast forward to a warm July day in Springfield, and they got to do it all over again. This time surrounded by the people they love most. Friends traveled from all over the world to celebrate with them at Arlington’s, the dresses were colorful, the florals were even more colorful, and the dance floor was exactly as fun as you’d expect from this crew.

And somehow, this chapter is even sweeter knowing they’re growing their family. Kimber was the cutest mama-to-be, and getting to photograph her and Matthew in this season as newlyweds AND soon-to-be parents, felt extra special.

January was about making it official.
July was about celebrating it BIG. 🥂

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with my sweet NYE bride and her planner (ILY Morgan & Ashley) chatting all things wedding for their day at The Wild Carrot. Our time together had me reminicing on this sweet wedding I had the pleasure of working with Lainie | St. Louis Wedding Photographer last year at their wedding venue.

Second half of the year weddings kick off this weekend and I am so excited for what the rest of 2026 has to bring! Here is to you 2026 brides!

Im editing my heart away, finalizing Olivia and Hayden’s wedding gallery and I gasped… Something about this photo stops me in my tracks. The bride and grooms grandparents, the elders before them, walking into the little chapel where a young couple is getting ready to become one. The life they’ve lived, the things they’ve seen, and the wisdom they can give. It’s truly beautiful!

A little June family vacation recap on digital and (mostly) film 🥹 something so special about vacationing with my little family and being able to include our best friends this year! Watching the kids who have known each other since the beginning vacation together was probably my favorite part of this trip. The toddlers exploring sand and waves, the big kids swimming and digging for sea shells, and even the adults letting their inner child come out. It was everything we needed in this season and more 🤎 🌊 🐚
