From dreaming about this little boy to finally holding him in their arms—it has been such an honor to document this incredible chapter for Liz Donnelly , Heather Krafft , and Rowyn!

It all began with their birth announcement photos in July of 2025, surrounded by the beauty of nature and a trail they love to explore together.

Their maternity session was filled with peaceful outdoor moments and stunning stone stairs that felt like the perfect backdrop for this season of anticipation, reflecting the journey they were about to embark on.

Then came the greatest adventure of all.

Being welcomed into their home to celebrate baby Rowyn's arrival was such a privilege. Every detail of his nursery was thoughtfully designed, reflecting the same love for the outdoors that have always been part of their story. It was the sweetest reminder that this little boy is already being raised in a home filled with love, intention, and adventure.

Watching your family grow and preserving these once-in-a-lifetime moments is exactly why I love what I do. Thank you for trusting me to capture memories you'll cherish for years to come.

Congratulations again on your beautiful boy! May your life be filled with wonder, adventure, and so much love. ♥️ 🍄🌳🌿

The sweetest season celebrating these three before they become four. ♥️

We split their maternity session into two parts, and the first stop was Creve Coeur Lake at dusk. We meant to get there a little earlier, but we all went to Cheesecake Factory first... and honestly, it was way too good to rush. 😂

Their pup, Mason, also joined us, and I have to say... he gave us the best modeling he's ever done. I guess when you're a wiener dog, you already know how to strike a long pose. 🌭🐶

The second half of their session was at home in their baby girl's nursery. Seeing everything finished—except for her name (we'll all know it when Mom and Dad are ready to share it!)—made it all feel so real. The nursery really shows how much baby girl is already loved. The shelves hold many books, cute decor and LOTS of stuffed animals. Sitting in the crib is the bear that helped announce the gender and a stuffed walrus from our brother (he has had one since childhood named Cute). So cute! 🥰

Before long, she'll be here, and I get to be her auntie Jenny! 🩷

I am so incredibly excited for these two as they step into this next chapter. I can't wait to watch them become parents, love on their sweet little girl, and keep creating memories together for years to come. ✨

Hello! I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who showed love and support on my last post! I am looking forward to what the future holds for JLMY! 🥰

I am currently out of the nest (office) visiting some of my husband's flock (family) and it has been a soaring good time! 🦅

Hi everyone! It's been a while... ❤️

Over the past few years, I've had several people ask me, "Are you still photographing?" Honestly, I can understand why. I haven't shared on my JLMY Photography page, so it probably looked like I had put my camera away.

The truth is, I never stopped photographing. I've been fortunate to spend the last several years photographing for other businesses, and I've genuinely loved every minute of it.

But I've missed this.

I've missed my past clients, meeting new families, celebrating milestones, and creating images that are uniquely yours.

I also want to apologize to anyone who reached out to me over the past few years and either didn't receive a response or had to wait much longer than you should have. If that was you, I'm truly sorry.

The honest reason is that I let my mental health keep me from putting myself out there. Self-doubt and imposter syndrome have been louder than they should have been, and I often convinced myself that I wasn't good enough. It's something I've been working through, and I don't want it to continue holding me back.

Photography has always meant so much more to me than taking pictures. It's preserving moments you'll never get back. It's documenting the excitement of an engagement, the joy of a wedding day, the anticipation of a growing family, the laughter during family portraits, or simply celebrating who you are in this season of life.

One of my favorite things is seeing the photos I've taken hanging on your walls, as your profile picture, and ultimately, becoming memories your family will look back on for years to come. It is such an incredible honor to be trusted with those moments.

So... yes. I'm still here. ❤️

I'm excited to reconnect with so many familiar faces and meet new ones along the way. If you've been thinking about booking a session—or if you've been waiting for me to come back—I would absolutely love to hear from you.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years, even during the times I was quiet. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

Here's to a fresh chapter. I can't wait to create something beautiful with you.

sincerely,
Jenny

📸 Thank you Mak Pate Photography for the amazing photos of me! Her and I have worked together several times, so I would love to have her on my team if you need a second for your wedding! 😁
