Guys, time is a thief. An absolute thief. Those teens are changing rapidly right before your eyes. It goes so quickly. I’m in the thick of it. And no, they’re not little any more but they are YOUR babies. My annual reminder to book your session and get the pictures.

Oh, the expressions of my new little friend! I got to meet this cootie and his chill parents this spring. The only thing better than capturing those first two chompers is 5ish years down the road when the front two to are missing.

One of my favorite things about these 5 is that they are down with out-of-the box locations and are also super chill… okay, okay two fave things. The clouds came in quickly and it started drizzling on us toward the end. Zero complaints and their gallery is 👌🏽. I’m moving on to a glass of wine tonight because all fall galleries are officially edited and out the door! 💃

Snuggle season is my favorite season. ❄️ Around my house it’s 365 days o’ snuggles. And I don’t hate it, I live for it. I think about that a lot knowing the actual season of having kiddos under our roof to constantly snuggle with will come to an end. 🥰

Being able to bounce back and forth between locations, cityscape to nature, is my jam. It truly makes my artist heart sing. Otherwise I know burnout would come quickly because of the repetition.

These two are ALWAYS down for a new spot. As we close the weekend of thankfulness, I’m thankful for the lovely light and fun energy they bring to every year. Peas in a pod. 💫

I realized this fall how many of my clients have actually been in my life for more than a decade. And how absolutely lucky I am. Those long term relationships built on respect and trust allow us both to now show up to sessions genuinely comfortable with and caring about one another. We have a window to catch up, have fun, and capture it all.

These three are particularly special. I refer to mom & dad as my “Magic House” couple because I first met them back in the day when I photographed weddings. Look at them now. I am truly excited when I see their name pop up on my calendar. As crazy as fall gets. Seeing everyone makes me happy.

I photographed both of her brothers’ newborn sessions and now this little sweet pea rounds out the bunch. 😍 She’s going to smothered with love. And fiercely protected.

Fall has taken me all over the Lou with sessions… and I love it. STL is a such a gem. This particular night we had to sporadically reroute locations due to a street being closed. And man, did we make lemonade out of lemons! 🤩
