ing. I dropped out of college to pursue my passions. I tried acting for a while. I loved it, but I knew it would be unpractical. I always like photography, but everywhere I read said that it was a terrible profession to pursue so I shied away. Until recently I said screw it I am going to do what I love. For the past year I have been learning as much as I can, practicing as much as I can to make this something I can live off of. I have been working for a wedding photographer as an assistant for the past year. I have gained so much priceless knowledge from the experience. Even though I don't have much experience, I feel confident I can make your day special if you choose me.

Some weddings just feel really special from start to finish, and Mary Grace & Kyle’s was one of them ! A cozy, candlelit winter wedding in downtown Detroit, with the most timeless details. Navy dresses, Mary Grace’s lace gown, and a classic cathedral ceremony, followed by the most fun reception at the Detroit Athletic Club.

But honestly, what stood out the most was them. So kind, so patient, and fully present the entire day. You could feel how much they love each other, but also how much they love their people. It never felt rushed or stressful, just intentional and full of joy. And The Jerry Ross Band had dance the floor packed all night! Such a fun, genuine group to celebrate with.

I am finally getting around to sharing this incredible wedding from December! Rachel and David were the best couple to work with. So laid back and the sweetest people. They were up for anything, including braving the freezing cold for a few minutes for some beautiful images. Their reception at the Ford Piquette Plant was super unique. That was my first time photographing there and it was such a cool experience!

I had so much fun with Lyndsay and Josh at their engagement session last week. We visited a spot that means a lot to these two. They use to go on walks around the lake early on in their relationship. Fall was in peak colors and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Not to mention I got to meet their adorable pup Ollie! I can’t wait for their St Johns Resort wedding next year!

Juliane and Nathan’s Wedding was filled with all the special touches unique to them. From the records adorning their reception tables to the cake toppers. Even the color scheme ended up being totally them. As some of you might know a little artist named Taylor Swift may have just dropped her Life Of A Showgirl album a week before their wedding. Coincidentally the colors they chose matched this ERA perfectly! Juliane so happens to be a fan of Miss Taylor!
