Subtle? These flowers have never heard of it. 🧡

And I’m so glad they didn’t!

A happy little tangle of brilliant orange poppies, delicate white blooms, and just enough purple to keep things interesting.

Nature certainly knows how to mix a color palette.

I love photographs that bring a little unexpected joy into a space. The kind that catches your eye as you walk past and makes you smile.

Norway has my heart. And sunsets like this are part of the reason. 🇳🇴❤️

Walking through Bryggen in Bergen as the sun was setting felt a little like stepping into another century.

Those incredible buildings, the warm glow of the streetlights, and that sky! I couldn’t resist capturing the moment.

Bryggen is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its remarkable history and architecture. It’s one of those places where you can practically feel the stories in the walls.

And what a beautiful place to get lost for a little while.

Purple Allium Delight

Yesterday was moving day! We’re excited about our new place, and there is still soooo much to do.

So today, I’m borrowing a little breathing room from “Tabacon”. A favorite view, with absolutely nothing to unpack. 🌊

Taking the nesting instinct a little literally. 🪶

"The Quiet Watch" comes with delicate feathers, a tangle of branches, and one very attentive resident.

I kept a whisper of color in this version. Those muted tones let my eye wander through the details—and I love how they look alongside warm wood.

A little nesting inspiration. No twig gathering required.
And as housemates go, this one is remarkably tidy. 😉

October doesn’t mean I’m giving up pink. 💗

I appreciate a good autumn gold. But “Claret Cup Pixiedust” is making a fairly persuasive case for keeping a little spring on the wall.

One lovely thing about choosing art for your home: your favorite colors don’t have to check the calendar.

A little California dreaming with “The Perfect Place” photographed at McWay Falls along Big Sur, CA.

That’s my memory tucked into this photograph. For someone else, it might bring back a different coastal adventure—or simply be a blue they’d happily look at every day.
