Did you know that the Discovery Center Springfield has a new bug exhibit?!?

1. Until doing photos for the Discovery School I didn’t even know there was an exhibit room up the elevator by the water table.

2. It’s a rotating exhibit - it was a Moon room on loan from the Smithsonian this spring and was so cool and chalked full of information!

3. These bugs are HUGE, they MOVE, and there’s a whole village you walk through that highlights local businesses (my love language!).

4. There’s a tiny human sized ant farm your littles can crawl through!

If you’re looking for something to do on this rainy day I can’t recommend this enough!

When you get to do a beach trip the same time as your tiny besties and you both have birthdays two months apart? We have beach cake and take princess dress photos on the beach! 😍 Love getting to do life with friends ♥️

Beach sessions are where my soul lives with such joy and laughter! We took some time to recharge and boy was it needed!! Coming back a little burnt but ready for the Midwest fall. Thankful for the ability to travel during off seasons and enjoy what other spaces have to offer - and fill our beach loving girls heart with all the sandy days!

Not every picture perfect moment is caught on the good camera - tonight our rainbow baby got to see her first rainbow in person. Her reaction? Hands held out in utter amazement yelling “I love it!”

Sweet girl, you’ll never know just how full circle that moment was and how much this mama needed it.

Fall mamas have my heart - it’s probably because I had a baby within days of this mama’s due date. Getting to document the bump gives me all the feels and is such a privilege!

This little guy was wide awake for his entire session and it was honestly the coolest session I’ve had in awhile! Normally awake newborns are not happy babes but this little wonder was all oooos and ahhhhs! Absolutely perfect!

It’s been quiet lately but for a good reason - it’s been busy! 🥳

Website updates with the goal of being absolutely little people faceless by 2027 is still happening.

There’s still a huge announcement in progress. One last piece before we announce.

And there’s so many sessions with all the sweetness happening - although Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that fall is supposed to be here and the 90-100° days are OVER!

Still dreaming of those crisp fall mornings and soaking up all the chaos, one moment at a time!
