Got a new solar filter for my camera for the April eclipse and tried it out today. This is the Sun shot with the Canon R5 with the 100-500mm lens set at 500mm with a crop of 1.6 which makes this an 800mm shot. Settings shutter 1/3200, aperture f7.1 and ISO 160.

During the trip along the Oregon coast the last stop before heading back home was Thor's Well. For me this has been and still remains on my top 5 places to photograph. Conditions were partly cloudy with wind gusts up to 25-30 mph. This photo was shot at about 7 PM with the Canon R5. Lens is the 24-70mm f2.8 shot at 70mm. Settings are f/5.0, 0.6 of a second with an ISO of 640.
