So “normal” business stuff over at the Hearth

This weekend I’m excited to be a vendor at Heritage Harvest Farmers Market in Lakeland on Sunday.

My stand will be open normal business hours Saturday but due to the distance of Sundays market I may close the stand on Sunday and Re open for Memorial Day ✨ I’ll update as we get closer to the weekend. I’m also keeping my eye on a potential hurricane/tropical storm for this weekend and if that changes any hours I will let you know!

Tomorrow I will post my current calendar for September

I will also be posting my first September menu! Fall is around the corner and I’m an autumn purest and will not go crazy on pumpkin or apple cider until we get closer to the season. Blame the Virgo in me 🤣 but! My flavors will start to get cozier with spices and things like maple and caramel and less bright notes of summer. We also will say goodbye to the nostalgic back to school snack era from August (you can always order these though so don’t worry) and get back to our whimsy fantasy vibes here at the Hearth ⚔️✨

No pre orders for this weekend! With the weather, the holiday and this very huge market I’ll be keeping all goodies first come first serve to make sure I bake enough. Pre ordering will open back up next week 😌 UNLESS you order a BER BOX off Hotplate those are a limited item drop and will be available I’ll pin the info to my page.

Collecting names and slowly filling our bowl for the Farm Stand Crawl ✨GIVEAWAY✨

I think all of us bakers are doing a different type of crawl this morning. One that feels like a zombie walk to our kitchens for a whole pot coffee. Using our last clean spoons to stir in our cream and hopefully stir up some energy after this amazing weekend 🤣 so bear with us as we gather every entry, but I will post a video of the draw and will make sure to share everywhere so that way there will be no way to miss the news!

The stand is CLOSED ⚔️

Sad that the weather closed both days out like that ☔️ but I what a weekend!

From the pictures to the tags to all of the people who stopped by and said hi we are so THANKFUK! What a national Farmstand day for the books I’m so excited to see how we can improve and grow as a farm stand community to bring you guys more local goods and creations!

We may be pouring our time and energy into these stands but it is our neighbors, friends and we’ll all of you guys who are the reason we get to do it 💕💕

We will draw the winner tomorrow afternoon as we collect all of the entries tonight and tomorrow morning but again THANK YOU! I can safely say I learned my stand can hold a gaggle of happy customers at a time and that has brought me immense happiness 🤣🤣💕

We are about half way through our Sunday and that means only so much time left to get through the farm stand crawl!

We still have: bread, bagels, cookies, fudge, brownies, jars and more!

Each stop is an entry into our give away and while we are still finalizing all of the goodies going into this basket let me tell you it’s STUFFED

Honey, sweets, gift cards/coupons, canned goods. Like honestly it’s a whole farm stand in a basket. The winner will be announced tomorrow so get all of those entries in, follow all of us on the shady hills farm stand map and don’t forget to show us your adventure 🤩✨✨✨

The Husband and I wanted to visit and highlight some other stands not on our map this weekend because there are so many of us and so many that we personally love to go to but the chaos got the better of us! But that doesn’t mean you guys can’t go visit these stands 😍

Of course Bishop's Bakery, ACE Harvest Farmstand & Microbakery, Lucy Lou’s Farmstand, Rural Desserts These are the ones a lot of us know and love and they never disappoint!

The Hearth is lit the stand is OPEN!

We have fresh bagels from Rise & Shine co.
Fudge, tallow and piggy Jam from Calico Kreations
Cowboy/cowgirl candy, pickles and a handful of cake pops left from Donna's Jams Jellies and More
Some vintage finds from a Vintage reseller (no page yet)
And of course tons of goodies from the Hearth.

Two new items today are “Marks No Bakes” these come from my family’s recipe box though I’m sure your grandma had something similar. It was my dad’s (Mark) favorite thing to make around the holidays as it didn’t need to take up any precious oven space that was being used for holiday Lasagna. I was pretty baked out last night and wanted something I knew my family loved to whip up for you guys. If you enjoy one today just know the holiday joy is filled into each cookie.

Speaking of baked out I went to restock the chocolate chip cookies and well.. they weren’t very pretty. Nothing wrong just a tad “rustic” 🤣 I usually pack up scraps for lunch box, ice cream toppings or honestly a midnight snack. As I was doing that I figured why not share with you guys so they are out there and only $1. Let me know if yall like the idea or if I’m crazy 🤣

Late to post but The stand is closed ⚔️

You GUYS!!

The amount of you that came out to show the love for the Shady hills farm stand crawl is amazing 😍 Mind Ya Beeswax Apiary and I were still setting up and y’all were already coming by to show the love and it did not stop. I even had a car that stopped by shortly after we closed in the storm (we hope you can swing by tomorrow 🥹)

I’m glad you guys are enjoying this adventure and getting to meet your neighborhood gems! I hope this map grows and we can do more fun events in the future.
