Story behind the photo!!

Deidre + Chris got married at her parents property and before they officially tied the knot, Deidre told me she had one specific request: a photo of her looking out of her old bedroom window as a bride to be. (Peep slide 10 šŸ¤­)

When she used to live here, she would stand at that very window and look out, imagining what it would feel like to one day get married at this place that meant so much to her.

And then, years later, there she freakin was. In her wedding dress. Looking out the same window. About to marry her person, surrounded by the people and place that had been part of her story.

Like how sweet!! I think these are the moments that make wedding photography so special šŸ„¹šŸ¤

Some snippets from Ada and Paxtonā€™s elopement on the Washington coast šŸ«¶

I love all sorts of weddings, but Iā€™d be lying if I said that elopements didnā€™t hold a really special place in my heart. There is something so special about the intimacy and simplicity of an elopement.

These two traveled from Spokane with their closest family and friends and drove over 6 hours to get married by the ocean at an air bnb in Seabrook. It was complete perfection ā¤ļø

Would you believe me if I told you these photos were all impromptu and I met these two only a couple minutes before?

As I was finishing up a beautiful engagement session, these cuties were looking for their photographer (long story, no oneā€™s fault!) and I ended up doing a spontaneous mini session before the sun completely set! We couldnā€™t let the night go to waste!

These two lovebirds traveled all the way from New Zealand for their Spokane courthouse elopement, and their families came from around the world to celebrate with them. Some literally even spent more than 20 hours in the air just to witness these vows.

Days like this are always a reminder that a wedding isnā€™t defined by the size or the venue, itā€™s defined by the people willing to cross oceans to stand beside you.

As an elopement photographer, itā€™s never lost on me how magical it is to witness stories like this, and theyā€™re the ones that stay with me long after the gallery is delivered.

D + V ended their elopement festivities with the dreamiest dinner ever. As the sun dipped below the horizon and blue hour settled in, everyone gathered around the table for an unforgettable meal. They dined by candlelight which created the most magical atmosphere.

They even hired a private chef which made the entire experience feel elevated, intimate, and incredibly special. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day, and the ambiance truly couldnā€™t have been more beautiful. šŸ’™
