Yesterday I took my son’s kindergarten graduation pictures, and somewhere between snapping the photos and looking through them later, I found myself in tears.
This year has been one of the hardest we’ve faced.
Between new diagnoses, medical challenges, appointments, uncertainty, and everything that came with it, there were days that felt impossibly heavy. Days when I worried more than I slept. Days when I wished I could carry it all for him.
But through it all, he kept going. He kept learning, growing, smiling, and showing a strength that amazes me every single day.
When I look at these photos, I don’t just see a little boy finishing kindergarten. I see every hurdle he’s overcome to get here. I see resilience. I see courage. I see a child who has faced challenges he never should have had to face so young—and who continues to shine anyway.
These photos are more than a kindergarten milestone. They’re proof of how far he’s come, how much he’s overcome, and just how strong he really is.
And before we close this chapter, I just want to say thank you. To my clients, friends, family, and everyone who checked in, prayed, sent a message, booked a session, or simply reminded us we weren’t alone—thank you. This past year has tested us in ways I never expected, and your support meant more than you’ll ever know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping us get through one of the hardest years of our lives. ❤️
