Honestly… it’s been SLOW, and I’ve had a really hard year. I’ve been trying to keep up with everything, and truthfully, I’m drowning a little. 🥲

So I’m taking a step back and slowing down with everything I do. ❤️ For the rest of 2026, I’m only offering two minis:

🚨 CALLING ALL LOCAL VENDORS! 🚨

We’re looking for local bakeries, food trucks, crafters, artisans, makers, and small businesses to join us for the Spencer’s Bravest Community Benefit on Sunday, August 30, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Sunoco by Big Y in Spencer!

This event is all about bringing our community together while supporting the Spencer Fire Department and Spencer Police Department. ❤️🚒🚓

Our team will be selling food, drinks, raffles, and more throughout the day, and 100% of the profits from our sales will be donated directly to our local first responders.

✨ Vendor Information:
• Only ONE vendor per business category will be accepted to keep the event unique.
• A minimum $50 contribution is required to participate, and businesses are welcome to contribute more if they choose. 100% of every vendor contribution goes directly to the benefit.
• Vendors keep 100% of their own sales.
• Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately, and I think it’s time to be honest.

Photography is slower than it’s ever been. Minis aren’t filling the way they used to, weddings are fewer, and while I’m still capturing beautiful moments (and adorable pups like this one!), there just aren’t as many of them. I’ve been working 80-hour weeks at my other job just trying to keep everything going. Today my son found out he needs glasses, and somehow it felt like one more thing on an already exhausting season. 😅

Photos with a special needs child look a little different.

There are breaks. There are moments to regulate. There are quick changes in mood.

And sometimes… you let them be in charge.

Tonight wasn’t about getting the “perfect” photo. It was about meeting Anthony where he was, following his lead, and capturing him—exactly as he is.

As a photographer, I remind families all the time not to wait until life feels perfect to take photos. Tonight, I needed to take my own advice. Because these pictures aren’t about perfect smiles. They’re about our story.

I’ve spent so much time worrying if I’m doing enough.
But the truth is…
Anthony doesn’t need a perfect mom.
He just needs his mom.

And one day, when we look back at these photos, I won’t remember the breaks or the hard days. I’ll remember his little hand in mine, his smile, and how much love filled this season of our lives.

These photos are perfect because they’re real. They’re us. 🤍
