The whole idea behind the logo comes from my book and the phrase “Storm The Valley.”

Bison are known for charging directly into storms instead of running away from them. They move through it head on. That mindset became the foundation behind the brand.

The cross on the leg like a cattle brand or ownership mark. It represents who we belong to. As Christians, we carry that identity with us everywhere we go.

The message behind it is simple: don’t spend your life running from storms. Run through them knowing God is with you.

On the plains, when a storm rolls in, cattle run away from it and end up staying in it longer. Bison do the opposite. They turn and move into the storm, which actually gets them through it faster.

Storm the Valley looks at how we handle pressure in our life. In faith, in work, in relationships, in the quiet battles in our own heads. It is about choosing to face things directly instead of circling around them and stretching them out.

I’m so excited to share this with you soon. “Politics Can’t Save You” came from conversations while teaching Political Science, and watching how politics has become the lens through which so many people view everything in life.

I walked into my classroom this year expecting division and chaos, but what I found was something different, students who could passionately disagree and still listen to each other. At the same time, it forced me to reflect on how much of our attention, identity, and emotional energy we’ve handed over to politics.

This book isn’t about saying politics doesn’t matter. It does. But it’s about recognizing that our faith, our families, our relationships, and our daily lives shape us far more than cable news or the next election ever will.

I wrote this for people who are tired of outrage becoming a personality trait and exhaustion becoming normal. My hope is that this book challenges people to think deeper, live more intentionally, and invest their energy where it can actually make a difference.

Coming later this year! I truly can’t wait for you to read it.
