✨Senior Sunday✨

Y’all meet Makenna!

She is a senior at Ashville High School and one of my Class of 2027 Senior Reps! 🤍

Last fall, she was accepted to the University of Mobile, where she plans to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business and Marketing. After college, she hopes to pursue a career in real estate and eventually start her own company.

As someone who also studied marketing, I may be a little biased, but I love the path she’s chosen! MaKenna is confident, driven, and outgoing, and I think those qualities will take her far in both marketing and real estate. She’ll get to help people find homes where they can build a life and make memories—and, according to MaKenna, wear heels every day. 😂

Outside of school, she loves weightlifting, staying active, overdressing for just about anything, and going wherever life takes her.

I’m so excited to have MaKenna on my senior team and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her! Y’all show her some love 🤍

These four have already made this experience so much fun, and I’m so excited for everything we have planned throughout their senior year. I can’t wait for you guys to get to know them a little better along the way!

✨SENIOR SUNDAY✨

Y’all meet Rylie!

Rylie is a senior at Hokes Bluff High School and one of the amazing girls on the Vallie Mae Photography Senior Team!

Cheerleading has been a huge part of her life for the past 15 years. She spent eight years cheering with ACE All Stars before joining Cheaha Cheer & Tumble, where she’s now entering her seventh season. She also represents Hokes Bluff High School as a member of the varsity cheer team. Her dedication to the sport is something I really admire.

After graduation, Rylie plans to attend either The University of Alabama or UAB to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. And honestly, I think she’s going to be incredible at it. From the time I’ve spent with her, she’s one of the sweetest, most patient people, and she genuinely has a heart for others. I have no doubt those qualities will make a difference in the lives of the people she cares for one day.

I’m so excited to watch all that this year has in store for her and can’t wait to share more of her senior journey! 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions about photography is that once the session is over, the work is done.

The truth is, that’s when a huge part of the process begins.

Every image I deliver is edited by hand. That means balancing light and color, adjusting skin tones, removing distractions, enhancing details, and making sure your entire gallery feels cohesive. It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about bringing the image to life while staying true to the moment.

When you invest in a photographer, you’re investing in much more than the time spent taking photos. You’re also investing in planning, experience, equipment, software, education, and the hours spent carefully culling, editing, and preparing your final gallery.

The before images aren’t “bad,” they’re simply unfinished. The final edit is where my style, creativity, and attention to detail come together.

Y’all meet Adyson! 🤍

Adyson is a senior at Pleasant Valley High School and is also dual enrolled at Gadsden State Community College. After graduation, she plans to attend Wallace State Community College to pursue a career as a dental hygienist.

Outside of school, Adyson loves all things girly, spending time at the beach, and making memories with the people she loves most.

One thing I’ve already noticed about Adyson is how strong and grounded she is. She’s the kind of person who quietly handles whatever comes her way with grace, and I have no doubt those qualities will take her far as she steps into this next chapter.

I’m so excited to have Adyson on the Vallie Mae Photography Class of 2027 Senior Team, and I can’t wait to share more of her senior year with y’all!

Y’all meet Janie! Between varsity soccer and being involved in National Honor Society, Leo Club, Peer Helpers, FCCLA, and Astra, I’d say it’s safe to say she keeps herself busy!

After graduation, Janie plans to pursue a career in forensic psychology, and I honestly think she’ll do great. She’s kind, thoughtful, and always willing to trust my vision during our shoots, no matter what I ask her to do (even photos in the rain 🤣). Anyone willing to step outside of their comfort zone, stay as involved as she is, and continue challenging themselves is already building the kind of qualities that will take them far.

I’m so excited to have Janie on the Vallie Mae Photography Class of 2027 Senior Rep Team, and I can’t wait to share more of her senior year with y’all!
