Me: "Hey Mom, how about we include you in Olivia's senior session?" Mom: "Yes!" This will now be a thing that we do. Love this!

Within the past couple weeks I've had several inquiries / questions about film. So let's play a little game I like to call "digital or film". Catchy isn't it? Let me know in the order that you see them which you believe is digital and which you believe is film. The first one who gets all of them correct wins a complementary engagement or portrait session. But wait there's more! I will also include a beautiful 11 x 14 hand printed photograph! If there is a winner, I will let you know by Monday evening.

Good luck!

Btw. Amateurs and professionals welcome.

Last chance before your Senior leaves you! Trust me, I know what you're feeling. No seriously. My bride Elena Margarella-Kustroń Joseph and I specialize in the beauty of your senior and creating heirloom photographs that become generational gifts. If we can help, let us know.

As a father for nearly 20 years and a photographer for more than 25, I sometimes catch myself spending a little too much time in the past — reminiscing about our daughter growing up, our marriage, past weddings and portraits I've photographed, and wondering how I got here. And when I say “here,” I mean living in memory.

As a photographer, most of my said memories tend to exist as photographs. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing, but it’s the way that allows me to remember who I’ve loved, who I’ve served, and where I’ve been.

The good news is I’m far from finished. My work is still relevant — timeless, if I may borrow the cliché — and truly the best of my career.

If we haven’t worked together in a while, I’d love to reconnect. If I reach out, please respond. At least with a "no thank you". Professionalism is never out of style.

This is me.

I’ve been doing this for 25 years.
Long enough to think I’ve seen it all — and long enough to know I probably haven’t.

In 2026, I’m re-introducing myself.
Not with trends or reinvention, but with clarity.

What I’m for.
What I’m not.
And why I still do this after all this time.

I don’t just believe in weddings.
I believe in marriage — the part that begins after the celebration ends. The ordinary days. The quiet work. The life that follows the photographs.

My craft has always been about meaning.
Not clicks.
Not validation.
Not proving anything to anyone.

I’ve been fortunate — more than fortunate — to work with people who share that belief. People who trusted me not just with their wedding day, but with their lives long after it. Families. Years. Chapters. Continuity.

Where I’ve failed is being trendy.
I’ve failed at being flexible when the industry demanded noise.
And I’ve failed — often — by being too quiet.

That changes now.

In 2026, I’m turning the volume up just enough to say what I’ve always believed:
That this work matters when it’s honest.
That memory outlives performance.
And that there’s still room for a quieter, more intentional way of seeing.

Call it a forgotten counter-culture, if you want.
I’m still here for it.
