In case you didn't know...Flock Safety is a privately owned company. The guy that started it saw an opportunity then got financial backing, then began to install cameras throughout the country. Nobody asked for this, the founder saw a business and income potential so he perused it. For a nominal fee (generally paid by the tax payer) the database, think 'the cloud', can be accessed by law enforcement agencies for official and sometimes non-official uses. Like any other corporation, their #1 concern is for their investors, (according to a Supreme Court decision, their duty and obligation is to the stock holders and investors), they want to protect their interests and that includes campaign contributions to any politician that will take their money and deny the will or desire of those they represent. It doesn't matter that it is a direct violation of the 4th amendment to the US Constitution. This is 'free market' capitalism at it's very worst. This should have never been allowed to happen.
